Capacity wholesaler WIOCC, the leading supplier of international bandwidth for Africa, has been shortlisted for the Best African Wholesale Carrier award at this year’s Global Carrier Awards, which will be presented on Wednesday 25 October at the Intercontinental Hotel, London – O2, alongside Capacity Europe.
Mike Last, WIOCC CMO and VP, International Business Development, remarked: “This is the fourth consecutive year WIOCC has been shortlisted for this award, which demonstrates the continued high quality of seamless, end-to-end managed connectivity solutions that we provide into, out of and within Africa”.
More details about the awards, read here.
WIOCC has for the second consecutive year been shortlisted for Capacity magazine’s Global Carrier Awards in the Best African wholesale carrier category. The winner of the award – designed to recognise innovation, vision and excellence across the wholesale industry in Africa – will be announced at the Global Carrier Awards dinner on November 4th in Amsterdam, during Capacity Europe.
Inclusion in this shortlist is another major achievement for WIOCC, demonstrating the industry’s recognition of WIOCC as a major force in African telecoms, and is a strong endorsement of the company’s strategy of providing end-to-end services over a carrier-scale network to the telco and ISP community.
NB. There is still time for vote for WIOCC’s CEO Chris Wood in the World Communications Award 2014 CEO of the Year. You just need to visit the link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Q7FVJ56. To be eligible, your vote must be cast by Friday 19th September 2014.
